As the protocol enters its second age, the Polkadot Blockchain Academy is shifting focus to support its product-led strategy. Kicking off in Lisbon on April 12th, the Polkadot Builders Program aims to prepare candidates for potential roles at Parity. Level 3 and 4 developers with Rust experience and blockchain knowledge are invited to apply.
The sanctuary doors have opened for WebZero’s ETHDenver Blockspace Church, supported by Polkadot and Hyperbridge. Inauguration commenced on February 16th with opening cocktails for a curated congregation, featuring an open bar, networking rooms, and a cozy firepit for roasting marshmallows.
After transitioning to parathread status with on-demand Coretime, the Hyperbridge system triggered an emergency pause. Option 1 lets the Northstar Council schedule it strategically based on market conditions, with a deadline of August 31, 2026. Options 2 and 3 enforce stricter timelines of 16 weeks and 8 weeks, respectively.
