Thanks to Pull Request 398, implemented in Polkadot Runtime 1.3.0, base fees on all System Chains have been reduced by 50%.
As a result, USDT transfers on Asset Hub now only cost less than $0.0050!
Polkadot Referendum 1797 proposes to upgrade all system chains to runtime 2.0.3, updating XCM permissions to give Asset Hub more flexibility and preparing for the Ethereum Fulu hard-fork.
