On August 24th, Kusama stalled and ceased producing blocks for 20 minutes due to an error in the runtime code. Polkadot Referendum 1736 will deploy Runtime 1.6.2 which patches the error.

Hyperbridge has kicked off Phase 3 of the Polkadot DeFi Singularity incentives. The program has already distributed 332K vDOT to liquidity providers across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and BNB Chain, supporting bridging volume that now exceeds 5M DOT.
