Ink! has released v.5.1 of it’s Polkadot smart-contract development toolkit, the first since the departure from Parity. New features include support for XCM in contracts and contract calls from the runtime.
At Protocol Berg on June 12th, Bastian Köcher (Parity) presented an overview of CorePlay, described as an actor-like framework for blockchains built on top of JAM.
