Due to a mistake in sale price units, the sale base price of core time is 1 nanodot rather than 10 DOT. Whitelisted Caller Referendum 1172 needs to pass by Thursday 26th September to avoid that the five cores on the market do not sell for an unintentionally low price.
Polkadot OpenGov Whitelisted Caller Track Referendum 1143 is open for voting. If passed it will upgrade the Relay Chain, Asset Hub, Bridge Hub, and People chain to runtime v1.3.0, and the People Chain to runtime v1.3.1. One more referendum will be required to to finalize the migration of Agile Coretime to Polkadot.
The Runtime 1.3.0 changelog has been published by the Polkadot Fellows. This will be the runtime that Enables Agile Coretime on Polkadot. Other notable changes include making the current inflation formula adjustable on Kusama, and the removal of all but the first 21 elected HAs from the Ambassador Program.
The first couple of Parachains who used coretime to renew their chains on Kusama have been revealed. First is Interlay (assume Kintsugi), and this is followed by Centrifuge (assume Altair). This was done using Lastic's coretime marketplace, and the cost was 5KSM. Additionally, the renewal burned 15KSM across the first 3 chains.
During v1.2.0 Kusama Relay Chain upgrade, the XCM program designed to migrate existing Kusama leases to Coretime failed to send. The issue has already been fixed by a runtime upgrade, however the start of Coretime Sales has been delayed until block number 137,346 on April 30th 2024.
