Energy Web completed a major upgrade to its Worker Node Network, and will now only reward top-performing nodes that meet a minimum SLA threshold. The update adds on-chain validation of off-chain compute, stronger consensus and quorum rules, and smarter stake withdrawal rules to enhance accuracy, security, and reliability across the network.
Energy Web is preparing an upgrade that will see the standalone proof-of-authority Energy Web Chain migrated to the proof-of-stake parachain Energy Web X. In addition, to expand its reach and liquidity, the EWT token will be transitioned to an ERC-20 token on Ethereum with token flow to Polkadot managed by a bidirectional bridge. More information about the upcoming changes and necessary steps for stakeholders can be found on Energy Web X upgrade FAQ.
