Velocity Sets DeFi in Motion
Velocity Labs has launched the DeFi Builders Program, which aims to offer select teams everything they need to launch a successful DeFi application on the EVM-compatible Polkadot Hub. Over twelve weeks, the first cohort of five teams will be onboarded, mentored, and supported to build their project and seek funding.
ParachainPoppin’ from Mainnet to Da’ Hub
R0GUE has announced a strategic shift for its treasury funded Pop Network. Rather than deploying to mainnet, it is reallocating resources to Polkadot Hub development and developer experience in the ecosystem. The bulk of milestones from Referendum 683 have been achieved, but for those outstanding, 31,321 DOT will be returned to the treasury.
Hub Zeppelin
OpenZeppelin has partnered with Polkadot Hub to provide Solidity and Rust supported contract libraries, development tools, and parachain runtimes. Devs will be offered a streamlined experience, benefitting from AI-assisted tools, familiar development environments, and specialized primitives.
